Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Hindo app, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Hindo. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their consent.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. User Content
Your content: You retain ownership of all audio, video, images, and text you upload ("User Content").
License you grant us: By uploading User Content, you grant Hindo a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display, and stream your content to other users within the App.
Your responsibility: You represent that:
- You own or have the necessary rights and licenses to upload and share the content
- Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
- Your content complies with applicable laws
Prohibited content:
- Content you do not have rights to (copyrighted music without a license)
- Content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory
- Sexually explicit content involving minors
- Spam or deceptive content
- Malware or any content designed to harm users or systems
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms without notice.
5. Signal Points
Signal Points ("SP") are a virtual in-app currency. They:
- Have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash
- Cannot be transferred between accounts
- Are awarded, deducted, and evaluated according to Hindo's staking system rules
- May be adjusted, reset, or discontinued at our sole discretion
- Are not a financial instrument or investment product
Staking SP on an artist is a feature of the App and not a financial transaction. Results of stake evaluations are based on third-party platform metric snapshots and are not guaranteed.
6. Pro Tier
- New accounts receive a 1-month Pro trial automatically.
- After the trial expires, accounts revert to the free tier unless a paid subscription is active.
- Pro features are subject to change. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes to Pro tier features.
- Subscription fees (when implemented) are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
7. Algorithm Boost
Algorithm Boost is a Pro feature that increases an artist's frequency in other users' feeds. We do not guarantee any specific number of views, saves, or discovery outcomes as a result of using Algorithm Boost.
8. Hindo Radio
- Only artists with a Pro account may submit tracks to Hindo Radio.
- By submitting a track, you confirm you hold the rights to distribute that audio in this context.
- We reserve the right to remove tracks from Radio at our discretion.
9. Chat Rooms
- Chat messages are visible to all users of the App.
- You are solely responsible for the messages you send.
- Do not share personal information (phone numbers, addresses) in public chat rooms.
- We reserve the right to remove messages or ban users who violate these Terms.
10. Intellectual Property
The Hindo name, logo, design, and original content are owned by Hindo and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
11. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HINDO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR SIGNAL POINTS.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hindo and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to conflict of law principles.
16. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
